Infinite Scroll
After Big Art Rotterdam and GLUE Amsterdam,
now at Kazerne during Dutch Design Week Eindhoven
2026 marks Tjep.'s 25th anniversary, celebrated with Infinite Scroll, a series of kinetic sculptures that take the most reflexive gesture of modern life, the scroll, out of our thumbs and into the room. Free-standing robots operate a screen on their own, turning an ironic, unblinking eye on our scrolling age, as seen here at the Waag in Amsterdam. After premiering at Big Art Rotterdam and GLUE Amsterdam in September, six Valets perform Social Dance at Dutch Design Week, Kazerne, Eindhoven, 17–25 October. The work is released as a limited edition of 8 per material in brass, polished stainless steel and corten steel. Read the press release

Tjep. is the design studio of Frank Tjepkema, in Amsterdam. An entrance for Paleis Het Loo. A garden that explains evolution. Machines that scroll so you don't have to. Always the idea first — the logical one never the obvious one.
