In the quiet alchemy of the vineyard, where earth meets sun and clusters swell with promise, a fervor was kindled that would infuse the heart of By The Grape. Traversing the landscapes from ancient terraced slopes to the burgeoning revival of urban cellars, it was the humble grape—its resilient tendrils and hidden depths—that seized the imagination, whispering tales of transformation and timeless indulgence.

These verdant clusters, shaped by the rigors of nature's palette, transcended simple harvest; they embodied the core of sensory harmony, urging ingenuity to bloom within organic bounds and transmuting raw vitality into structured poetry.

At its profoundest core, this creed stretches beyond the vine: life unfolds as a refined narrative, rich with sips to savor and stories to uncork, rather than a barren ledger of measured yields. It is in this essence that By The Grape took root, entwining the earthy poetry of organic vines with the layered emblems of communal revelry.
Heritage of the Harvest
Channeling the storied legacy of Dutch viticulture and Neleman's organic ethos, our designs meld heritage of the harvest with the steadfast grace of reclaimed timbers and metallic gleam. We played with the visual analogy of the pallet—evoking stacks for transporting precious cargo—and the chateau's crenellated parapet, a defensive architectural detail reimagined as elegant bottle displays. From lights reminiscent of an old wine cellar's vaulted ceiling to the very classy metal wine glasses presenting rare bottles, these elements elevate ephemeral nectars into immersive havens we can inhabit, cherishing them as totems of renewal and delight. By The Grape is the newcomer in the Dutch wine scene, a complete city winery with everything connected to your wine experience—including spaces for tasting and cooking workshops.
Universal Vintage
The name By The Grape conjures the intimate pull of the arbor, fusing the grounded rhythm of vinous tradition with a universal vintage that transcends divides. Grounded in the Netherlands' burgeoning wine renaissance and minimalist poise, By The Grape unites age-old fermentation with the contemporary oenophile's quest.
Eternal Press
With its looping tendrils echoing the barrel arches we shape, the name evokes an eternal press between yesterday's sun-kissed groves and today's refined repose, the vine's untamed spirit and sophistication's bouquet, and the braided journeys of soil and soul.
