Review of the Prague Designblok Exhibition

During the recent Prague Design and Fashion Week (7-12th October), Tjep. unveiled the new Bronze Age collection to great critical acclaim at Designblok, in the stunning ballroom of the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace.

Alongside the new Bronze Age collection, Tjep. also exhibited the jewelry works and other unique pieces, such as Il Treno and Il Treno Fuori. You can see the full Bronze Age collection here.

Tjep.'s ballroom exhibition was also chosen as the venue for the hosting of the Dutch Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Ed Hoeks. He officially opened the exhibition with his wife Odilia de Ranitz.

Another highpoint of this exhibition for Tjep. was to be awarded the 'Cena Ň°√©fredakctorů' / Editor's Choice Award from Designblok for the best jewelry collection at the event. "The jewelry pieces represent some of our most recognised collections and they are inspired by a long tradition at Tjep. I started the first piece - Bling Bling - nearly ten years ago now." Said Frank Tjepkema in response to receiving the Award.

In addition, the Bronze Age collection received widespread coverage among the Czech media and internationally, on respected design sites such as Dezeen, DesignBoom, HauteLiving and more.

Tjep. would like to thank everyone who attended the Prague exhibition - it was another marvellous event and more will follow.

Tjep. is looking for design students interested in internships in the field of interior design, product design and especially computational design (Rhino + Grasshopper).
