Title Buro Balthazar Description In this era of "open space", we created a closed office that one can roll into any huge open spot one wishes, so as to enjoy privacy whilst being a very visible part of the whole! Originally designed for Balthazar (an eleven year old boy), this desk is not just a desk but a complete office with it’s own entrance, window and sign. But if originally, the object was meant to create a playful separation between a child’s room and the place where he does his homework, in fact it will also create a restful separation between you bigger children and your noisy working colleagues! Buro means office in Dutch and will be understood as such in many languages except Spanish, where "burro" means... easel.
